Paradise Cove // Kris & Ellen
Kris and Ellen’s Lakeside wedding at Paradise Cove was a special day not only for the Bride, Groom, and their closest friends and family, but for me. Kris, is in fact an old photography friend from high school, and the reason I began shooting weddings back in 2012. Before moving to Orlando, Kris used to second shoot and assist for South Florida wedding photographer, Frank Donnino. Once moving to Orlando he referred me to Frank. That’s where I began falling in love with photography, and learning the ins and outs of Wedding Photography. So of course, when Kris and Ellen asked me to photograph their special day I was honored!
The Girls
The Day started in the Paradise Cove Bridal Suite, the house was set up loft style, and the ceiling windows let in a ton of beautiful natural light in for myself, and the makeup artist.
Ellen had hand made a bunch of details for the wedding. Including these mimosa glasses for her bridesmaids and all the flower arrangements for the bouquets and boutonnieres.
The Guys
Meanwhile, the guys were getting ready across the street.
That Ring Shot!!!
The Ceremony
When Ellen made it down the aisle, Kris wasn’t the only one excited to see her. Thor their adorable husky, did not hesitate to let out a bark and greet mom. Look at how cute he is in that bowtie!!!
Portraits
Ellen’s got those post “tied the knot” smiles. The energy after they walked down the aisle had the entire bridal party glowing. All their guests were so happy for them.
First was Thor and Odin.
We kept fun with this “superhero” shot Ellen brought up at our consolation. The bridal party really committed, I loved their enthusiasm.
For their Bride and Groom Portraits (my favorite part of every wedding) We took advantage of the lakeside and this beautiful white dock.
I had to take advantage of the dramatic sunset. It’s what Frank’s (Kris and I’s photography mentor) specialty was. I included this image in their wedding preview and Kris was quick to catch my ode to Frank.
The Party
I loved the Christmas lights they added such magic during Kris & Ellen’s first dance, and with mom and dad.
